The book will assist trainees, trainers, educational and clinical supervisors, College tutors, Directors of Medical Education, SAS tutors and Training Programme Directors in preparation for the MRCPsych examinations. The MRCPsych examinations are extremely challenging, and candidates must be meticulous in their preparation if they are to stand any chance of success. It provides sufficient MCQ revision material for each element of the curriculum. Using this book, readers will be well armed to face the MCQ component of the Paper 2 exam. In order to facilitate revision, we have mapped the questions in the first four chapters to the curriculum topics. The fifth chapter is intentionally unstructured, and has been included to provide a mock exam representative of the MCQ component of Paper 2, which readers can use to practise under exam conditions. All questions are based on the curriculum and thorough answers have been provided to explain the rationale behind each correct answer option.
